HOW CANON IS THE GAME? Walking Ghosts is canon up until Chapter Thirty-Four of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. Instead of hitting Harry with the Avada Kadavra curse, Voldemort realized that killing Harry would be a crucial mistake. Not only had this task been impossible forever, he had become aware that Harry himself was one of the horcruxes, and therefore if he killed the boy, he would be closer to destruction himself. Instead, he decided to wield Harry as his own personal weapon. He Imperiused him and then proceeded to wipe all of Harry's memories, before implanting him with tailor-made memories that Voldemort had created. Everything, including the epilogue, is disregarded after this chapter. WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THE RETURNEES? The returnees are those who have previously been part of the ongoing war, from both sides, and been killed because of it, and still have a large part to play in the war that has continued on after they have fallen. The Order Members will return at n.12 Grimmauld Place, the headquarters for the Order. The Death Eaters will return in the graveyard where Voldemort's father is buried, where he became whole once more in 1994. HOW MUCH DO THE RETURNEES REMEMBER? The returnees regain their memories, up until the point of death. Anything after that they will have no recollection of. They also carry scars and wounds they may have incurred during death, such as stab wounds, but those who were killed by curses will have no physical evidence to prove that they had once been murdered. WHAT'S WITH THE JOURNALS? The journals have been created by the Death Eaters as a way to boast their power to the rest of the Wizarding World. The Order became aware of these journals and created their own, passing them out to their own and those who remain in hiding, a an effective way of communication. Charms can be cast on the journals to hide a person's location, and even hide portions of their entries that they do not wish others to see. WHERE DID ALL YOUR CODING COME FROM?
